After having two Harley's, a Fatboy and e-Glide I was thinking about an Ultra. I decided to also look at Goldwings as I like Honda products and have a car and outboards from Honda. I also looked at BMW but the local dealer was unresponsive and not very professional. Had a great experience at a different dealership and purchased without a test ride after much research.
After one block, I realized what a terrific machine the Goldwing is. Every aspect of the bike is much better and continues to amaze me. I ride two up most of time and my wife thinks she died and went to heaven. I thought I would miss the Harley world but every time I ride this bike it still continues to impress me. My rides are now longer, faster, and more frequent. My Harley friends warned me the bike is big and hard to ride in the city...Hogwash. If you are considering a change, don't, this bike is what a real touring bike should be.
